Cookies and Web Technologies

This website uses the following types of cookies:

Necessary Cookies

These cookies are necessary for the proper functioning of the website and cannot be disabled. They include cookies for:

  • Storing your language preferences
  • Form security
  • Storing your cookie settings choice
  • Basic website functionality

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating the website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)); under Section 89(3) of Czech Act No. 127/2005 Coll. these cookies do not require consent.

Analytical Cookies (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity)

We use Google Analytics to analyze website traffic and Microsoft Clarity for heatmaps and session recordings. These cookies help us understand how visitors use our website, allowing us to improve its functionality and content. We set them only after you give your consent.

Data collected by Google Analytics:

  • IP address (anonymized)
  • Browser and operating system type
  • Pages you visit
  • Time spent on the website
  • Traffic sources (how you reached the website)

Marketing Cookies (Google Ads)

We use Google Ads to display relevant advertisements. We set them only after you give your consent. These cookies allow us to:

  • Measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns
  • Display personalized advertisements
  • Limit the number of times the same ad is shown

Cookies We Use

Cookie Category Purpose Retention
akrac_consent Necessary Stores your cookie settings choice 12 months
_ga, _ga_* Analytics Distinguishes visitors in Google Analytics 4 24 months
_clck, _clsk Analytics Session identification in Microsoft Clarity 12 months / 1 day
_gcl_au Marketing Google Ads conversion measurement 3 months

The exact list depends on which categories you allow; without consent only akrac_consent is stored.

Cookie Management

We manage consent with our own tool built into this website — no third party is involved. On your first visit we offer you the choice; rejecting is as easy as accepting. You can change your settings or withdraw consent at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the website footer. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Your choice is stored in the akrac_consent cookie in your browser. To be able to demonstrate that and when consent was given (GDPR Art. 7(1)), we also keep a server-side record containing a random consent identifier, the time, the categories chosen, the language and an irreversibly hashed IP address (a keyed hash from which the original address cannot be recovered). We keep these records for 24 months, use them for no other purpose and do not share them with third parties.

Cookieless Analytics (Umami)

We also use a self-hosted Umami instance to understand site usage. Umami does not store cookies or other identifiers on your device. We derive a daily-rotated hash from your IP address and browser User-Agent solely to group page views within a single visit; the hash cannot be linked back to you after 24 hours. We do not use remarketing and do not share data with third parties. Because no information is stored on your device, this tool does not require consent; the legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating and improving the website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

Cookieless Ad Effectiveness Measurement

When you send us the contact form, our server records the time, the page the form was sent from, the domain of the website you arrived from, the ad click identifier if the page address contained one (e.g. the gclid parameter from Google Ads), and an irreversibly hashed e-mail address so that we can recognise repeated submissions. We use this solely to know which ads lead to real enquiries. Nothing is stored on your device, the record is not linked to the content of your message and is not shared with third parties. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in measuring ad effectiveness (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)); records are kept for 13 months.

Data Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage.

Policy Changes

We may update these policies. We will inform you of significant changes by email or website notice.
